Accuracy is one of the core principles of The Flux Wire.
We work hard to ensure that the information we publish is accurate, fair, and properly sourced. However, journalism is a human endeavor, and despite our best efforts, mistakes can occur.
When errors are identified, we believe the right response is not to hide them, but to correct them promptly and transparently.
Our Commitment to Corrections
If we discover that an article contains a factual error, misleading information, inaccurate data, or a significant omission that changes a reader’s understanding of a story, we will review the issue and take appropriate action.
The speed of publishing should never outweigh the responsibility to be accurate. For that reason, we continuously review our reporting and remain open to feedback from readers, experts, organizations, and individuals mentioned in our coverage.
How We Handle Corrections
Not every update is a correction.
News stories often develop over time as new information becomes available. In such cases, we may update an article to reflect the latest developments. These updates do not necessarily indicate that the original article was incorrect.
When a factual error is confirmed, we may do one or more of the following:
- Correct the inaccurate information within the article
- Add a correction note explaining what was changed
- Update a headline if it contains inaccurate or misleading information
- Clarify language that may create confusion for readers
- Remove information that cannot be verified or is proven to be false
The approach depends on the nature and significance of the error.
Types of Corrections
Minor errors such as spelling mistakes, grammatical issues, formatting problems, or typographical errors may be corrected without a formal editor’s note, provided they do not affect the meaning of the article.
Substantive errors involving facts, dates, figures, names, quotations, locations, statistics, or other important information will generally be corrected with transparency and, when appropriate, accompanied by a note informing readers of the change.
Reader Requests
Readers play an important role in helping us maintain accuracy.
If you believe an article published by The Flux Wire contains an error, omission, or misleading information, we encourage you to contact us. When submitting a correction request, please provide as much detail as possible, including the article link, the specific information in question, and any supporting evidence.
Every credible correction request is reviewed by our editorial team.
Submitting a correction request does not automatically result in a change. We will independently evaluate the claim and review the available evidence before making any editorial decision.
Transparency
Our goal is not to appear flawless. Our goal is to be accurate.
When a significant error is corrected, we believe readers deserve to know what changed and why. Transparency helps maintain trust and demonstrates accountability to our audience.
